A few years ago, as part of the ‘Internet of Spectro’, Spectro launched the ‘IBC Monitoring System’. This involves sensors being installed at user locations with so-called IBCs (Intermediate Bulk Containers) and connected to the Spectro Internet Module. The generated data is then automatically sent to the Spectro server. As soon as the order is placed, new product is automatically sent. Never have to order again yourself!
Several users in the car and truck wash sector and the food industry have been working with the system with satisfaction for some time now. Now we are taking the next step: full-service IBC monitoring. Here, we not only monitor the stock remotely, but as soon as the order level is reached, our drivers on site will install the new IBC and take the empty ones back. Any remaining stock is neatly accounted for.
This new service is ideal for customers where space is an issue, as every minute counts for those working in remote and unmanned locations. Additionally, IBC Monitoring can also be provided as a full-service solution for customers who have a fixed bulk tank on site. Furthermore, the antenna on the new version of the Spectro Internet Module has been significantly improved, allowing us to reach even the most complex locations.
