We win the Family Fundament Award for Best Family Business in the Netherlands. Additionally, we are the first Dutch manufacturer with an EU Ecolabel for professional dishwashing detergents. We also take over PL Chemicals from Zwolle.

We are expanding our storage and production facilities. Furthermore, Laurens Metternich is taking over a large portion of the company shares.

We are launching the sustainable brand Ecodos. Meanwhile, Swiftfill has also been fully integrated into our company.

Another acquisition: this time we are taking over Swiftfill from Nuenen.

We are growing and are also taking over Bio Liquids from Den Bosch. We are integrating Bio Liquids directly into our company.

We take over Yardo & Fresh from Tilburg. In addition, we take over the production of Zeeperij from Belgium.

A new packaging hall is being built at the Grevelingenmeer.

We are building a completely new factory with office space on the Grevelingenmeer in Oss. In addition, Spectro will become a B.V.

Clemens and Trix Metternich split off and founded Spectro, on the Galliërsweg in Oss.
1979
Clemens Metternich graduates as a chemist and starts working at Producten Sociëteit Metternich. Later this year that name changes to Metternich Chemie.
1963
J.M.C. Metternich starts a manufacturing company for disinfectant products: Products Sociëteit Metternich, at the Middelwijkstraat in Soest.
