Used products deserve a new life. Recycling and reuse are therefore important considerations in our production process. A beautiful example of this are our ‘Recycle Bottles’: made from up to 100% recycled plastics. Recycle Bottles deliver a significant CO2 savings and prevent the use of fossil-based raw materials.
100 ml bottle
Application: Bottle that is used, among other things, for Mini Bottles & hand disinfection.
Material: 100% PCR PET.
Closure: Transparent sprayer or cap.
500 ml bottle
Application: Bottle that is used, among other things, for hand disinfection and hand sanitizers.
Material: 100% PCR PET or 100% RF HDPE.
Closure: Transparent dispenser pump or screw cap.
1 liter Ecodos dosing bottle
Application: Bottle for dosing, among other things, cleaning, disinfection and textile washing products.
Material: 100% RF HDPE.
Closure: Transparent dosing cap (5, 10 and 20 ml).
1.5 liter Ecodos cartridge
Application: Ecodos and Ecodet dosing systems.
Material: 6% PCR PE and PET (87% RF in development).

Recycle Bottles in development:
- Spectro is also currently conducting research into recycled plastic from dispensers (ABS and HDPE).
Additional information:
- RF: stands for Recycle Factory and is made of plastic from used packaging that was collected from customers of Spectro and/or by our packaging supplier. The quality is the same as virgin plastic, but it has a slightly darker color.
- PCR: stands for Post Consumer Regrind and is plastic that has been collected from consumer waste (e.g. by Plastic Hero). The quality is equal to virgin plastic but also has a slightly darker color.
- PW:
PW stands for Production Waste and is plastic that is created during the production of new plastic packaging. It can be reused unprocessed in new plastic products. The strength is slightly lower, therefore it can currently only be used up to approximately 30%. PW has no influence on the color of the product.
The availability of Recycle Bottles is highly dependent on the availability of the recycled material and may therefore vary per order.
