Eenzet Handelsonderneming specializes in cleaning and maintenance products for the automotive, transport and industrial sectors. After having been at the helm for almost four decades, the current director, Brigitte Nihot, officially hands over the baton to Laurens, Alissa & Quintus Metternich. It all began in 1985 when Brigitte took over the company from her parents, who had also spent almost four decades in the business.
From family business to family business
Now, in 2024, Brigitte is ready to take a step back. “It has come faster than expected, but that’s okay,” she says. A family business that has been in existence for almost eighty years and has no succession is asking for entrepreneurial skills with the right qualities to take on this responsibility. “You don’t just sell your “baby” to the first one that comes along, and in preparation for the continuity, I have therefore carefully looked at who can lift the organization to the next level,” says Brigitte.

Spectro focuses on quality over quantity and the emphasis is on personal contact and lasting relationships, the core of the success of Eenzet as well as of Spectro over the years. The Eenzet range, as well as the employees, will not be changed in its current form; rather, a wonderful range of Spectro products will be added. An ultramodern and energy-neutral factory in Oss, which is fully prepared for the future, has contributed to this conscious choice being made.
