At Spectro, we strive every day for a more sustainable future. We are continuously developing innovative cleaning solutions that reduce environmental impact. To achieve this, we have implemented several key advancements:
• EU Ecolabel Certification: Our cleaning products now meet the strictest sustainability standards of the EU Ecolabel, incorporating AI-developed fragrances and ingredients from renewable sources.
• Sustainable Packaging: Our standard bottles and cans (non-UN approved) now contain at least 50% recycled plastic. This marks significant progress towards compliance with the new EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive (PPWD).
• Transparent CO₂ Footprint: Soon, we will be able to calculate the CO₂ impact of each product, providing greater insight into our contribution to a greener world.
We are incredibly proud of these milestones. Check out the infographic above for more details on Spectro’s sustainable journey!
The EU Ecolabel is much more than just a stamp

Our CSR Coordinator, Maria Rijsdijk, shares more on this in our latest blog post.
Private Label & EU Ecolabel?
At the beginning of 2025, we will implement the renewed and improved formulas for our interior cleaner, sanitary cleaner, floor cleaner, and glass cleaner in the related private label products as well. It will also be possible to display the EU Ecolabel on a private label. However, certain conditions apply. Interested in learning more? Please contact us.
