In 2023, thanks to a stabilized raw material market, we have been able to avoid having to implement any overall price increase and have largely phased out the temporary surcharges.
The future is uncertain
However, it remains difficult to predict what the future holds for us. We are seeing that commodity producers are more reluctant than ever to provide long-term prices, making it very difficult to plan ahead. On the other hand, general costs as well as costs for things like transportation and legal obligations continue to rise sharply. On top of that, there is once again a significant legally mandated increase in the minimum wage, which has a major impact on our labor costs.
No general price increase
Despite this, we have decided not to implement any general price increases as of January 1, 2024. However, we will take a number of measures to provide a solution to the rising costs.
No guarantee
This does not guarantee that we will not still have to implement an interim price increase next year, but we hope to have provided a suitable solution for you in this way. Of course, we do this because we would like to establish long-term relationships.
