Eenzet Handelsonderneming* specializes in cleaning and maintenance products for the automotive, transport, and industrial sectors. After nearly four decades at the helm, the current director, Brigitte Nihot, officially passes the baton to Laurens, Alissa, and Quintus Metternich. It all began in 1985 when Brigitte took over the company from her parents, who had also been running the business for nearly four decades.
From Family Business to Family Business
Now, in 2024, Brigitte is ready to take a step back. “It has come sooner than expected, but it feels right,” she says. A family business with almost eighty years of history, but without a successor, requires the right entrepreneurial skills to take on this responsibility. “You don’t just sell your ‘baby’ to the first person that comes along, so in preparing for the continuity of the company, I carefully considered who could take the organization to the next level,” says Brigitte.

Spectro prioritizes quality over quantity, focusing on personal contact and long-lasting relationships, which have been the key to the success of both Eenzet and Spectro over the years. The Eenzet product range, as well as the employees, will remain unchanged in their roles, but a beautiful range of Spectro products will be added. Spectro values quality, innovation, and sustainability above all. A state-of-the-art, energy-neutral factory in Oss, fully equipped for the future, played a key role in this well-considered decision.
