Small-scale opening
On January 10, in the presence of a small number of invited guests, the new Spectro headquarters was officially opened by A.I.S.E. Director General Alexis Van Maercke: “The opening of this new building is a clear signal that, despite the challenges, SMEs are the backbone of the European economy, and we will continue to invest in this.”
Pleasant workplace
The new building primarily provides a pleasant workplace for the current and future team at Spectro, which has grown significantly, partly due to the recent acquisition of Eenzet. Additionally, a considerable part of the space has been set up as an experience center to engage customers and other stakeholders with the divisions and innovations of Spectro.
Sustainability
During the development and construction, much attention was given to sustainability. For example, as much as possible, local partners were used, the building is energy- and CO2-neutral, there is a rainwater collection system, and circular, used, and recycled building materials were employed. Refurbished and recycled materials were also used in the interior.
Clients warmly welcomed
On Monday, January 13, Spectro HQ was officially put into use and is fully operational. Spectro’s clients are warmly invited to visit and take a look. Of course, this can be combined with a visit to our adjacent factory at the same location.
